Musings of a minor megalomaniac
More so than previous years, to me at least, BHM holds new significance for the country. With racist politicians pushing Critical Race Theory nonsense, it has never been more important to recognize and process the African American situation in this country. George Floyd struck a chord. Let’s see who’s really listening.
The Webastos got off to a great start, then failed in different ways after only a couple weeks. Was it due to the stock air filters, or the WMO? That fuel concentration was pretty minimal to start with. The air filter supplied with the units is actually no filter at all, so I added some foam media to at least keep the bugs out. Considering we’re in the middle of winter, I probably should have just left them alone.
Only the #1 unit was sooted up, so my preferred theory is intake restriction. The other one looked fairly good for the 20-some hours of runtime it had on it. Still not sure what’s wrong with it. The injector sleeve gasket was missing, so maybe that let it run lean. Ironically, they were beginning to get hard to start just a couple days before the good air filters showed up.
Unit #1 is running on max for a couple hours this morning, after cleaning and re-installation. Extended (I)nitial (O)perational (T)est and (E)valuation periods usually spelled doom for the new systems I worked in the Air Force. Fortunately I have the flexibility to manage this one however I see fit, and it’s kinda fun to tinker with.
Good, bad or otherwise, they are at the root of all goings on, good, bad or otherwise. New modes of communication supporting our evolving high-tech society have challenged accepted norms of human behavior, resulting in the currently unacceptable state of online interaction.
Spotify now forms the communication battle lines between truth and falsehood in the malleable minds of viewers and stakeholders everywhere. The problem is not just “Irresponsible people are spreading lies that are costing people their lives.” as Mitchel opines. Rather, so-called responsible celebrities with followers who believe them, deliberately tell lies and spread misinformation. That’s not just irresponsible. It is dishonest, anti-social and wholly abhorrent. The only reason they do it is to improves their own social and/or political standing with likes, re-tweets, followers, marketing money and all the associated bullshit that goes along with sensational social media – at the expense of public health! The scary part to me is whether or not they actually believe this shyt themselves! Who knows!? Vaxxed politicians feigning privacy rights only further illustrates the hypocrisy.
As usual, it’s just a new angle on an old issue. The danger in communications mediums nowadays is they have become ubiquitous and fast. It’s everywhere, everybody has a cellphone and there is no throttle or filter. The conservatives learned this first in their rush to exploit an untenable political situation. The gatekeepers chose to cash in, rather than modulate.
Too much truth has always been bad for conservative politicians. Now they have an effective means of overwriting it in etch-a-sketch Facebook™ minds.
All it took was one popular, deranged sociopath riding a wave of propaganda and lies, and voila: The herd of repuglican lemmings charges for the cliff, right behind dear leader. Tell me any other explanation, when M&Ms, Minny Mouse, and Furries seem to represent their biggest issues on the political landscape. My days of straight party voting are back, baby! I really couldn’t possibly care less who is on the next ballot I see as long as the R’s beside their name are clearly visible for me to avoid.
The kid who started the Furries bit must be laughing his ass off somewhere. Remember Dr. Seuss? The phony outrage is just disgusting. They won’t be getting any more quality votes from me.
Everybody’s payin’ for this one.
But my dollars are getting longer all the time. Needed to get this downloaded for the archives 1st, so it never goes away.
I hear anxiety is a popular explanation for overeating. The little coked-up gerbil Ben Suckpiro, certainly has plenty of reason to be anxious. Fabricating your own evidence for supporting lies is a tricky business – just ask Giuliani. Reminds me of the old adage “some use statistics like a drunk uses a lamppost – more for support rather than illumination.”
People walking around with deadly weapons like guns and political power, occasionally have very serious split-second decisions to make. It’s always been my experience that patellar reflexes are typically preceded by uncontrollable inputs. Subject to the law now out of their control, repugs are running scared, spewing knee-jerk reaction in overtly public, revelatory fashion.
Goddamn right it’s a lynch mob – called WE THE PEOPLE, mutherfucker – not we the qanons, or we the Trumpies, or we the stupid. As disgustingly abhorrent as they are, we’re all in this one big ol’ USA family and none of them, including the lefties and their special interests speak for the the majority. Only one thing does that.
How nice it might’ve been had this ensued during a real, hot war, so I’d perhaps be looking forward to seeing some of these scumbags dangling from a real rope. Now it’s time to mow them down, one-by-one, and take out the political trash.

Told ya Rodgers can suck it. Now he needs to learn about instant Karma. Seems doubtful there’s room under that helmet for much more knowledge of any kind.
