I used to spend quite a bit of time in Aurora, back when I was working at the base. Buckley ANGB was where I started my Air Force career in 1983. The low rent neighborhoods they refer to aren’t much different than the same strip-mall suburbs seen all across the country.
And suddenly, the public is expected to believe that, out of nowhere, there’s a gang problem in dubious apartments run into the ground by, coincidentally, the same landlord, which even Coffman called a “slumlord?”
