It’s all-in now with the fish and plants. One thing about the swimming-pool blue is it looks dirty just because of the color contrast, making it easy to see all the algae and dirt on the bottom. Debating whether or not to go with grey or black again next year. The goldies been chilly past week, with morning water temps dipping to the low 60s. I actually had to run the heaters for a few hours to bring up the water temp a little before moving them outside.
The pond lily got re-potted in a much bigger felt/fabric planter, suspended on a guide line right in the middle. The big floater guys seem to be struggling. We lost one big fish after a few days. I think he just got too fat and couldn’t swim anymore.
