BMW ConnectedDrive – BMW TeleService and Condition Based Service.
BMW TeleService transmits all the important information for a service appointment from your BMW to your BMW service partner. This makes servicing your BMW even faster, easier and more economical.
Condition Based Service (CBS) is an intelligent system that independently detects the service needs of your vehicle. Fixed service intervals now belong to the past because CBS analyses the actual service requirement and keeps you informed.
When required, the data are sent from your BMW either automatically or at the touch of a button to BMW service. Your service partner will then contact you to arrange an appointment. Exchanging data via BMW TeleService enables the actual service requirement to be ascertained before the appointment, allowing the workshop to order any spare parts required.

I am trying to reset my brake pad indicator which was just replaced today. I have a 2006 325i. Nothing happens when I hold down the set/reset (is that the b/c button)? Also forgive my ignorance but what is meant by “terminal 15″. Is that simply pressing start w/o ?
May 18, 2009 at 10:57 am
You have to use the trip reset button on odometer to reset the light once you select it with the BC button. Terminal 15 is ignition on engine off. (push start button so all warning lights illuminate on instrument panel).

Hello how do I reset millage service on bmw 325i E90 model I tried but no joy it has gone up to service -3200km
February 17, 2010 at 3:36 pm
How far are you getting in the above instructions before you have the issue?
February 17, 2010 at 10:50 pm
E90 with auto stick reset is done little different from instructions listed above.
Place a key in a ignition swith and press the button. Wait untill all check lights go out and service light is the only one left. Put your foot on the prake pedal and hold odometar reset until yellow triangle comes up. As soon as that happens relaease it(odometar reset button) and use scroll on left side of stering week to find an icon that you want to reset service light for. Press the top button on left control handle and reset “light” will come on. Press again and hold it for few seconds. That shoud deo it. You can keep scrolling until you reset all that needs to be done. Once you are done take a keyfob out and you are ready to go!

I followed the procedure to reset the oil service on an E90 330xi. The date has reset 2 years from the date I changed the oil and the km set to 21,000km. It has been 3 months and the km did not drop and I currently have 78,000km. Would this be because I changed the oil before the service light came on.
thks
